Is anybody running such combination? I'm interested to know if there are any problems (especially if you are converting AVI sources).

I do, but actually for mpg2 capture sources or VOB, just tried on 1 avi.

No problem at all. I am in fact waiting to change for the 2.56 stable as soon as released. I even don't use the 05/10/07 release but the 05/09/04 one.

Now that 2.5.6 is released I would very much like to repack the installer (since no problems was reported here), but to avoid multiple repacks I also wanna wait for XviD 1.1 final which I doubt will be out that soon...
