To all,

Please -- I posted the release notice yesterday for v1.00 Final and in the post I wrote... to be released on October 7thI posted early purposely to ensure no one would get angry that they weren't warned when the minimum donation requirement goes up.

Please, no more PMs or e-mails.... it hasn't been released yet.

I'm working on a couple of small changes that I think are important to complete before it is released. Hopefully I'll get it done by late tonight (EDT) so I can get it out today....

Yea, no kidding. If someone can't wait a day for the final release, oh well. :) Don't rush, JDobbs. We can be patient. Better to have a flawless release than one that was rushed due to an arbitrary "set release date". I'm sure people will understand if it's delayed a bit.

Yep - same here. I've only had the program a while but already I can see how useful it is - and can wait until the final is ready

@Jdobbs

Your program's already saved me tons of time. I think -- if I really try -- I can wait a little longer for version 1.0 Final. ;)

I thought I had plenty of time... and then earlier today a windstorm came up and a significant portion of the tree in my front yard ended up on my porch. I've spent most of the day with a chainsaw trying to clear a path to my front door.

Needless to say, I'm not in a very good mood right now. :angry:

Oh man, that sucks!!! Good luck getting that dealt with. Real life can be such a pain sometimes. :)

I've changed it to the 8th... getting it finished and mailed today isn't realistic.

@Jdobbs

Qoute: "and then earlier today a windstorm came up and a significant portion of the tree in my front yard ended up on my porch."

Let me guess: Cottonwoods, right? I've got a bunch of those on my property, and every time there's any wind whatsoever I've got a good day's work cut out for me. Can't wait till the leaves start falling... :devil:

The mailing takes quite a while... my outgoing connection is a little limited and my provider has a limit on the number of relays it will allow each hour.

No biggie. I can wait. Looking forward to it. Also know that we seriously appreciate all the insanely hard work that went into this release!!

I just got my copy and thanks a ton JDOBBS!!!!!! I love it, I use it nearly every day. You have changed the dvd backup scene for the better in everything you do. Thanks again!!

PS - Does this mean no more releases? Or just that you wont be working on DVD Rebuilder as much as you do now? How do you see the DVD RB development proceeding from here? Sorry for the question but I have been away from the site for a bit, and am a bit out of the loop.

concerning the readme:

- Automatic burning using DVD Decrypter

maybe you should change it to "imgburn", jdobbs

and thanx for this release!

Sorry for the question but I have been away from the site for a bit, and am a bit out of the loop.It doesn't stop here. I have a huge list of feature requests that I will be working for v1.10. This release just gets it out of beta (finally).

and thanx for this release!I'll do that. It will still use DVD Decrypter if ImgBurn isn't present though.

:thanks:

Following your efforts since March 2004 (it was release 0.26), I can just add to the kind comments of people all around a further big thanks: DVD-RB is really a jewel you have given to the community, so today, with release 1.01 it is really a special day...
