Upon demuxing of the video, I am checking the video lengths of each VTS and they are 14:06 minutes. After CCE encodes them the length is now 9 :44 minutes, 5 minutes is missing is from this and the beginning of every other VTS. I can't seem to figure out where the missing video is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: upon doing some searching here is some additional information.
29.97 frames per second, R1 disc, NTSC
from the .ecl file
frame_first=0
frame_last=53967
encode_first=0
encode_last=53967
From above, if I'm doing the math correctly it should be 30 minutes long, however the original demuxed vts*.m2v file is only showing 14:06

Which VTS are you seeing with the problem and that's 14min long?
VTS1, the script agrees with IFO (each PGC is about 30min long)
VTS2 also matches (although VTS2 probably doesn't need to be demuxed - very small and BOV.. i'd recommend leaving this one)
I'm assuming this is some episode disk?

VTS__01_P01.I-TFF.4~3_1.nopull.mpv through VTS__01_P05.I-TFF.4~3_1.nopull.mpv
In the original VTS01 directory where DVD Decrypter demuxed it, they are showing as 14 minutes long in media player classic. After they have been encoded and placed into the Scenaid\NewD2V dir they are only showing as 9 minutes long in media player classic.
yes it is a television show. the odd thing is, i did another disk and it worked just fine, i am having issues this time around.
d3s7,thanks again.

well here's what's interesting:
- Original Length: 1036753400 - Bitrate: 4606
- Frames: 53967 - fps: 29.97
that's for P01
that = about 30min long (53967 / 30 = 1798.9 = 29.9min)
try opening the .avs in mediaplayer classic and see what that duration is

upon opening the .avs in media player classic, it is showing 30 minutes, but why are the .mpv files only showing 14? thanks again.

not sure.. perhaps MPC can't handle raw mpeg2 files properly?
Or maybe it's using a bad codec... not sure really
how large is the encoded file (time wise) if you open it in muxman or scenarist... I'm thinking this may end up being more a MPC issue

well scenarist is showing the correct lengths, MPC is still showing 14 minutes versus 30, as well as WMP and powerdvd. in did this disc once before and i was missing time upon burning it and playing it on my standalone, im just hoping it doesnt happen again. is this a common problem when using scenaid or batchcce?

it worked this time, no video missing, but the first time i ran it through i was missing video, i wonder what changed. scenarist showed it as 30 minutes when it was multiplexing....thanks for your help d3s7.
