AIW sound not captured

I have an ATI AWI 9600XT card. I have modified the captures settings, and have been successfully capturing TV by prescheduling on the Gemstar guide. However, last night, I set it to capture Top Gear, and the recording has no sound. I tried a record at once capture and scheduled capture this morning, and both worked fine. Any idea what caused the glitch?

Not all applications will capture sound if you feed the audio to the "Dangle". Bypass it and connect the audio feed directly to the sound card inputs. Make sure that if you are capting "Pal or NTSC" that the correct format is set. It is possible to capture the video without the audio.

I didn't chang any settings before the problem captured, and have captured fine both before and after.

I am sure you didn't but as a long time user of five AIWs, they will change on their own. Don't assume anything when it comes to ATI.
