I have Cyberlink PowerDVD 6 and Sony Dru500a burner.

Every DVD that I backup, the video and sound would stutter when I try to play it in my Sony drive using PowerDVD. If I play the same DVD in WinDVD or Windows Media Classic then it would play just fine. Then when I put the DVD in a different drive, the movie would play just fine in either of PowerDVD or WinDVD, etc.

Whats the deal with these stuttering problems using PowerDVD and Sony drive together?

Well WINDVD never worked for me .. I have a Samsung DVDROM, I can only play movies on PowerDVD .... when i use windvd either there is no sound or there is lag in the video and sound [i mean no synchronization]...
