Maybe already asked but couldn't find it in the search results.
I have a TV series that I'd like to backup.
When I load the video_ts folder in DVDrebuilder (1.00 RC6) I only get to see 1 vts. This vts is only 4gb so dvdrebuilder tells me the dvd is already small enough.
There are in fact 5 vts'en on the disc with a total size of 7.71gb.
How can I backup this type of disc with dvdrebuilder ?

It would really help jdobbs if you mentioned the name of the TV series on DVD and region. :D

It's a dutch serie on a PAL Region 2 DVD9 disc.
I tried a clean install and created a new config file in stead of my old one and with the new interface (old ini gave old interface) it seems like dvdrebuilder is able to do its job again.
Took me quiet some time in the new interface to get everything right :)
I'll see tomorrow morning if the output is ok.

How can I backup this type of disc with dvdrebuilder ? You should be able to back it up easily, assuming you have all the default values set and nothing is selected for "Steal Space From Extras". If DVD-RB is seeing only one of the VTS's, one of these is probably your problem:
1. You have one of the "movie-only" modes selected -- causing DVD-RB to select only the largest VTS.
2. You are ripping using Decrypter or some other package and some setting is incorrectly set making it rip only the main PGC.
3. All of the other 4 VTS's are under 50MB each, so DVD-RB is copying them intact (not likely since you reported the total size as 7,71GB).
My money is on #1...

hi jdobbs,
I have full backup mode enabled
I ripped the complete dvd with dvddecrypter
the other vts's are approx. 1gig each
Looks like my old ini file was the one causing dvdrebuilder to take only one vts.
I did a clean install and put all settings from scratch and dvdrebuilder is processing all vts'es now. So i think it's ok now.

We'll never know unless he preserved the old INI somewhere... :)

As much as I love the new interface for DVD-RB, Rockas' interface has grown on me and is the one I stick with and it's the most simplest one there by comparison. Subtitles, Video & Audio settings are clearly displayed there & in a resonable size. :)

The backup was finished succesfully with a nice 4.32gb endresult :)
@jdobbs
I still have my old ini, which values should I look to ?
@HKT3020_1
I agree on the Rockas' Interface being more straight forward, so I've set it back to that skin :)

Nothing odd that I can see... maybe Rockas was right.

I ripped to an iso in dvddecrypter as I always have done, didn't change anything and has never failed before.
So I don't think dvddecrypter was causing a problem?
