Hi, I downloaded quite a long time ago XviD-1.1.0-Beta2-04042005.exe from Koepi's page and although I am not dissapointed by it or anything I find it strange that no new version has appeared since. Is it because they have been working on a bigger update or simply because I don't know where to look?
If my system configuration makes any difference I have an Athlon XP 3000+ on an nForce2 ultra 400 chipset and 512 DDR 400 on Dual-DDR mode.
(Please also answer my other question if you can, I will make a new thread since it's irrelevant to this one (but not totally if there is a new build))
Thanks!

Try the latest CVS (equivalent to Beta3, I suppose):

Well, yeah but which one. I'm not exactly familliar with the names so I really don't know which one to download. I have Win XP and (as I said before) Athlon XP 3000+
Thanks and sorry for the trouble

Oh, is the http://mirror05.x264.nl/celtic_druid/force.php?file=./xvid.cvs.head.exe link on bob0r's site going to be updated as well? Or should we only depend on your old site?

Well I could probably manage to upload a 1.1 final once it is released.

A "final" build will be on my site as well of course. It'll be released in a few days.

A final already? What about the "wishlist" thread: Proposal: XviD 1.1.0 (beta3?) release (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=100147)
Is it really going to be in only a few days? That's...incredible...!

Koepi, did you read ALL suggestions on Xvid beta3 proposal? What new options will be included in final release of 1.1.

Well, the final was supposed to be released this weekend, but some proposals are so good that we include something like this (well, suxendrol does :) ).
So it's just a little more waiting.
Cheers
