LighteningUK, the author of DVD DeCrypter, is back with "Imgburn" a new and improved version of the DVD DeCrypter burning engine.

Any chance DVDRB will be adding this as a choice for burning ISO's?

Visit his new site: http://www.imgburn.com/

Let's wait for HIM to chime in. i would of thought someone like him would have informed us of this release just before or at the same time he opened up the website.

Thanks feedback :)

Great news, wrong forum....Agreed.... Maybe this thread should be moved over to the DVD Burning section of the forum!

For all those interested LIGHTNING UK has setup an ImgBurm Support Forum (http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?act=idx) too!

Cheers

Like I always said many times...you can take the man out of the game but you can't take the game out the man. ;)

I would still love to see a stripped down version of DVD Decrypter that was specifically developed for use with "non" CSS protected DVD's - ie: like those we ordinary Joe's make!

Development in this area is still useful :)

I've added support for burning with ImgBurn in the DVD Rebuilder Professional Edition. It will be out with the next (v1.00 Final) release. If ImgBurn is installed it will become the default ISO output software... if not, DVD-RB will use DVD Decrypter (assuming it is installed).

I highly recommend using the internally controlled ISO creation and burning tools of DVD-RB (which uses MKIOFS and ImgBurn/Decrypter). There are other "to remain unnamed" burning packages out there that try to outsmart the authoring software and in the process create a coaster. DVD Decrypter and ImgBurn both do the job correctly.
