Pro wont open.

for some reason when I went to open dvdrb pro rc1.06 today it wont open, I get "runtime error 35601 elements not found" please help. :confused:

did you install it using the installer ? or just update the exe over the top ?

try uninstalling it and re-installing it using the installer (if you have already done that then im out of idears :( let the tech boys sort it out :P)

its worked fine since rc1.06 was released, I used it 3 times yesterday....ive always just applied the updates. Ill try a reinstall later if I cant get an answer.

I've never even heard of that error before. Have you installed or removed anything from your computer since yesterday?

that was my next thought maybe some dll or some other shared file has been removed

the only thing ive done is install divx 5 codecs.....anyway I reinstalled it and its working again....wierd.

Sounds like there was a fight at the Codec Corral.
In other words, some sort of conflict.

Well, at least you have it operating again.

have had simular with powerdvd and chopperXP install chopperXP and powerdvd wont play anything - re-install powerdvd or the 1614 patch and all is fine again :p

yes I had the same problem as you installed and reinstalled powerdvd to get it to work.
