Trying to find out if this is possible, and how to install the packages in ubuntu Linux. I'm suprised I'm not finding more threads concerning Linux, did I not search in the right forum?
Thanks!

uh, GK is a Windows app, inst it. but a whatever-linux port would be great. I dont think Len0x will do that, and any other one would need the source code, if Im not wrong...

GK is an open source project: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gordianknot
That said, it is designed to run on the Windows family of operating systems -- and it uses many subsidiary applications and middleware (e.g.: VirtualDubMod, AviSynth) that also are designed to run on Windows.
It might be usable with WINE (Windows Emulator for Linux), but I've never tried it. There have been reports of some successes with AviSynth with WINE ... you may want to search through our Linux / Mac OS subforum. I happen to use OpenBSD rather than a Linux distribution, but the WINE release for BSD dates from 1999, so I have little interest in it. When I need GK or AGK, I boot a Windows OS.

Once i managed to make it work on linux with wine (or maybe winex). The problems is it's so unstable it's almost useless.
