First you have to have an ISO-file already on disc.
So using FILE-MODE won't help in special. The ripping mode even doesn't matter.

DVD-decrytor burning engine is a feature that only works with ISO files (amongt other image-standards), but you cannot use it to write a bunch of DVD-files (VOB's e.d.) to DVD. If you want to burn the output of DVD-RB you have to set DVD-RB to outputting an ISO FILE. SO set under MODE the option 'OUTPUT TO ISO IMAGE FILE'.

If you have the ISO image after DVD-RB has done it's work, you can use DVDDECRYPTOR to just burn the ISO file to DVD. You then use DVDDECRYTOR as a burning engine and you can get to the write option via 'MODE' --> ISO ---> WRITE. Then DVDD asks for an ISO image (the output of DVD-RB) and will try to write that to DVD.

I only recommend to use NERO as a burning tool. It's much more intended for DVD-writing and even checks the files in a certain way before wrting them to a DVD.
You'll just need File mode in DVDDECRYPTOR to rip the files, use the directory they are in as SOURCE for DVD_RB and let it generates it DVD-level files such as the *.IFO and *.VOB files.

Then use NERO in DVD-MOVIE-MODE to burn the DVD. Nero automatically looks after some things, such as correct sorting of the files and always placing the backup ifo-files (*.BUP) files after the corresponding VOB files to make sure the IFO and the BUP are not at almost the same physical location on the disc, so the disc will play back even if there is a scratch on it, making an IFO unreadable.

Even with Nero you can burn ISO files directly. But still it's not my recommended way.

Another advantage of not using ISO files is that you can do some postprocessing afterwards if there is a need for it. For example DVD-REMAKE_PRO works with DVD-files on file level, not as an ISO image.

If you haven't Nero, you can use a trial, and even condifer buying it.

It's the most general used DVD/CD burning suite with great support for all types of drives (writers) used. It's really not that expensive and you get excellent support.

I just once buyed version 6 and have done mutiple updates/upgrades without paying a cent for it.

But you have to decide for your own.

I hope this helped in some way...

Good luck,

Set the option for one-click mode in DVD-RB, and change the options under Mode/Select The ISO Output Options then select 'automatically burn with DVD Decrypter'

If its installed on your system, then DVD-RB will burn the DVD straight after creating the ISO image

This is assuming you get no errors in the encoding stage .......

so, do i have to rip the movie on ISO mode with decrypter first?

No, DVD-RB wants DVD compliants files in one specific directory first.

So as I already stated you have to make a difference between ripping and using DVD-RB and burning.

The first step in the proces is always ripping a DVD. You can do this by using DVD-DECRYTER in FILE MODE. The directory where you rip to, is the input diretory for DVD-RB....

Then you can use DVD-DECRYPTOR again, using ISO IMAGE option in DVD-RB to burn to DVD with DVD-DECRYPTOR.

So be aware that DVD-DECRYPTOR is used for two different functions.

Ripping and Burning in youre case.

Although I still not recommend it, cause DVD-DECRYTPOR is out of development and it's possible it won't support youre burner and it's even possible it won't rip DVD's with latest copy protection schemes.....
