View Full Version : error in MuxMan 0.14g - GOP fields exceeded

hey all,

i was muxing a DVD with MuxMan ver 0.14g and when it finished i got this error:

Largest GOP of 44 fields exceeded DVD specification of 30.
Resulting DVD is non-standard.

what could be the problem here? if there is a problem.. cuz it muxed my DVD and it works.. but will it effect a standalone DVD player?

Assuming you made a PAL DVD

DVD Specs:
largest GOP Size for PAL DVD is 15 Frames or 30 Fields
largest GOP Size for NTSC DVD is 18 Frames or 36 Fields

Most players accept such DVDs without problems but not all.
