Guys,

I've been ripping my DVD collection onto my HTPC using dvd shrink (no compression, just the movie). I'm slowly running out of space and so have started XVid'ing via autogk some of the less agressive dvd's (romantic comedys, family films etc).

Can I use AGK to xvid some of the films I've already 'DVDShrinked' or do I have to start fresh with DVDDecrypter???

I've probably have around 60/70 movies that are on my HD that I would now prefer to be XVid, I don't fancy having to bin them and start again!!!

Thanks in Advance

Sure, just select as your Input File in AGK the VTS..._0.IFO. I suggest too starting w/a file size selection of 1/4 to 1/5 of the original, or about 10Mb per minute e.g. 1200 for a 120minute movie.

Try it, you'll like it.

Stace, if you haven't shrunk the DVD's with DVD Shrink (just used re-author mode to grab main movie I gather), then the source is the same, so just process from the HD copies.

Edit: Seems laserfan beat me by half a second with posting.
