So I'm about to install my Dual-Layer DVD burner. I've done some research about the layer breaks and I'm concerned about standalone compatability. From what I've found ( which isn't much ) I should be able to do a straight DVD backup with standalone compatability, or burn a ripped .iso.
What about file mode ( Video_TS )? I know there's some compatability issues there. Is there any known way to prepare a DVD9 for standalone? It should just be a matter of calculating the correct layer break, but is there any known software which will do this properly? I wouldn't much care for wasting one of these hyper-expensive DVD+R Dual discs if it'll only play on a PC.
