All of my DVDs I've encoded so far come out being too large. How do I force it to be like 4.32GB or like 4.35GB after its done? What settings do I need to check?

DVD-RB default size is about 4.32g, so if you are getting oversizing... something else may be wrong... It's seems more people get about 4.32g-4.35g with the default (I do with CCE Basic, CCE SP, HC and AQE).

You may want to check out ROCKAS installer (if you already haven't)

Okay, so it was at default already. Guess that's not the problem. What else could be the problem?

No I didnt use the installer. What installer? The encoder is CCE.

Is there a way to see what the size of the output is going to be before you encode it?

The Installer is link above "LINK TO DOWNLOAD" and no, you can't see the size before..... it should come out at 4.32g 'ish

CCE is real good at sizing so something may be wrong in the setup.... try uninstalling everything and use the installer linked above.

The latest Public Release version is v0.95, released on September 28th, 2005. You can get it here (jdobbs.net). Read about it here. The freeware version is now being distributed complete with the Rockas Installer.

I'm using DVD-RB Pro and I dont see a link to download a installer for it.

@Troy25

What version of CCE are you using? There are some versions of CCE SP v2.67 floating around that require strange parameters in order to size correctly... would that be yours?
