hi all! :)
I am new of the forum and I would like to ask you expert about a problem I have. I have to compress a MPEG2 video to Divx but I don't want to encode the audio, which is mp2. How can I do? Which programs do you suggest to do that? I tried a lot of softwares but each one of them requires the audio encoding.
thanks,

Too many ways to get this done...
Easiest is i think:
1. get VirtualDub-MPEG2 1.6.10
2. open file via file --> open and select the "extended options" box in the lower left corner of the opening screen
3. select "allow direct stream copying of MPEG audio" and continue
4. wait for file to be parsed
5. go to video --> compression, select DivX and configure it to your needs.
6. save as AVI.
