ogg time problem

I have an ogg file that is 3+ min long.

- Windows Media Player (with illuminable direct show filter) shows the length to be 0:17, but will play the file to end. I think the file was encoded incorrectly.
- I am trying the convert this file to mp3 so I can burn to CD. However, all the converters (Blaze Pro and ogg converter) I have tried stops converting at 0:17.

Is there a way to fix the time info in the file? Are there converters that ignore the time info?

You could play the file and simultaneously record it with a .wav editing program.
