After reading through this great forum I've finally managed to get an avs to:
play vob file via d2v
telecide the source
play ac3 audio + delay
play new editied subtitles (SRT)
Why you might ask, my last project was a 26 episode series that took a whle to encode all the video, and seeing as this was I can just eaily stream the video (vob format) from my PC to my TV, this just seems so easier for what I need.
The only problem I an now having is getting the correct aspect ratio whan played back.
The source is R1 NTSC, Anamorphic widescreen. PowerDVD shows the original as 16:9, resolution 720x480 (525/60).
If I play some of the vobs in media player classic (not the best, but good for seeing in all there) the sizes vary from;
720x540 to 852x480 (probably MPC can't handle them very well), but all the info boxes at the bottom of properties say Mpeg2 video 720x480 (16:9) 29.97fps.
All I need is some assistance in the proper resizing option and settings for my avs (lanczosresize, BicublinResize or simpleresize; I just don't know)
If a small vob sample is need please let me know and I'll get on ready.
