jerky playback, izak unibrain (Sigma EM8511)

hey all,
I just picked up one of these hard disk based players and so far its a good machine, but i have a problem on a few xvid files. The playback seems to skip the odd frame every 30 seconds or so. Its based on the Sigma EM8511 chip appararntly.

I thought i had it sorted when i went back to the stable xvid codec (1.0.3) from the beta (1.1.0-beta2) but it seems to have not fixed it with my last encode :(

any suggestions? :(

Can you provide more detailed information about your XviD encode please?

Stuff like, pixel frame size, ASP settings (such as Qpel, GMC, B-frames), fps etc....
