please help me I have this problem , when I open my avi in virtual dub and when I try to split it I have video and audio out of sync.

Please help me I really need this.
My file is 349MB and it is 23,976 framerate.xvid

I also tried to split video and audio and then for audio source use wav file but I have same problem.

and for video compression I use xvid.

I am doing something wrong but I don't know what.

where is the source from? What codec does it use for audio and video? If it's something downloaded, the file can be broke, off spec or many things to make it not want to load properly in Vdub

If the mp3 is VBR, are you telling Vdub to rewrite the file header? If there is prompt asking you to re-write the header, select no.

Have you tried VirtualDub Mod? If not, try it, since it seems to handle many different files better.

are you converting the audio from 48000 hz to 44100 hz?
