Dual Audio Files -Two Langauges Playing at Once

I have some Japanese anime that I downloaded that were dual audio. They are .mkv files. When I play them in divx player or windows media player, both the Japanese and English audio tracks play at once. Is there any way for me to somehow choose a track or mute one of the tracks while the other plays?

I only speak English, so I want to get rid of the Japanese audio in one of them so I can hear the English. I have another film that is subtitled, so I want to get rid of the English so that the Japanese plays and I can read the subtitles.
