I read last version (0.66) doesn't have AAC coz of licensing problems.

Both h.264 and AAC are support.... however... in each case... h.264 needs some heavy optimizations as the FFMPEGs ops are not good yet. Also AAC decoder is not included cause they ask me to remove it... so you got to goto rarewares.org to download the decoder.

I installed the AAC plugin, and made a small test (x264 @ 320x240, 24FPS; HE-AAC @ 64kbps) in MKV and the player skip to the end. Any idea why?

Probably because HE-AAC decoding eats all CPU already ? Try Vorbis or normal LC-AAC

h.264/FFMPEG which we use in TCPMP are not that optomized yet.

Which file exactly should i download in order to hear aac audio?I can't find any TCPMP plugin in the aac section of rarewares.org.
I also have a problem with ac3 audio and latest release candidate of TCPMP,i downloaded the ac3 plugin and put it in the same folder of tcpmp.exe on my PocketPc but i can't play the audio part of an avi with that kind of audio.

sirber, the CPU in your PPC is likely ~500mhz, what are you expecting? :P That said, on my 520Mhz xscale (xscales are hugely more efficient at video decoding compared to transmeta and other chips) I've been able to play ~150kbits base@1.3 and 64kbits HE-AAC without skips.

I have a 400MHz xScale CPU with 100MHz bus. When I tryed I dodn,t limit the level, maybe I should. Gonna check :)
