I have a dvd that I bought in the US (NTSC format) and i want to back it up with DVD-RB in PAL format (I'm in Oz).
Is it possible and how do I go about doing it?
I'm using DVD-RB Pro latest version with CCE as my preferred encoder.
cheers

i've not tried that before... i'm not sure if it'd be all that graceful.
in theory it can indeed be done. but DVD-RB may try to mux the PAL assets as an NTSC project, resulting in a non-compliant DVD.
it'd be cool if there were a standards-convert mode in DVD-RB though :)
btw, in OZ TVs and DVD players are multizoned and multi-format, so you shouldn't need to convert to PAL in theory (NTSC works fine on every TV since the early '90s and possibly beyond).

Thanks Mug Funky. Yes I know most can play NTSC out here. Was more interested in whether it could be done especially if the situation was reversed and I wanted to convert a PAL dvd to NTSC

No, it can't be done at this time, but it is being considered for a future release. :search: There are plenty of other threads on the subject.
