I have recently recorded some Mpeg 2 music video clips and demuxed these standard def files with project x and then Cuttermaran to cut out adds. The resulting files have Ac3 audio at 448 kbs.Sound quality is excellent and are dvd compliant. The volume being Ac3 however is well down on normal levels which is to be expected.
How can i Increase the volume of the clips (not at the sacrifice of quality) 2-3 db gain ? . I have attempted this by increasing the gain of the ac3 file in demuxed state with besweet but when remuxed the Video has no sound.
can this be done with DgmpgDec ??
Cheers/Mick

Can this be done with DGMPGDec? Only if you use the Decode AC3 to WAV option together with Prescale Decision (or Normalization).
