As the thread title suggests, I would like to know what variable bitrate bias settings people use most often with HC in DVD-RB Pro.

I know it is a wide open and very general question, but I ask it nonetheless.

The default in the HC options of RB is 20, I believe. I am using the HC_15A version encoder.

So you use 20 with animation, high action etc.

I have the variable bitrate bias setting at 30 and have not seen a big difference. But, I want to try different settings though and see what I come up with.
I was just curious about the different results people had with different settings.

For me, if it can be changed I will usually change it and see what happens...not always with the best results. Still, if I don't give it a go, I'll never know.

Experimentation is the mother of invention...
or was that Necessity, hmm! Maybe both.
