In the past, I've done this in a cumbersome several-step process in TMPEnc. It was fine several years ago when I had only a couple of videos. But now, all my ATSC TV recordings that aren't in 16:9 HD format need this (short clips I like to archive or share with friends.
Basically, I'm just looking for an extremely simple tool which only removes the left and right black pilars encoded in the mpeg2 video. It would be a bonus if the tool can also do fast editing like VideoRedo.
