Heya all,
I've been testing all resize algorithms in ffdshow and I'm out of luck.
I'm using ZP + ffdshow (without avisynth which seems to be very destructive) to watch my DVDs on my projector.
ffdshow : YV12
gradual denoise 30
resize : tested all, using Lanczos 2 with luma sharpen 1.0
Sinc seems to be the best resize method but too slow on my AMD 2400+.
But even with Sinc (and more with Lanczos), I can see residual small artifacts and resizing problems.
Exemple : windows in a church

which causes some paralellism (or aliasing) problems.
What "is" the best resizing solution ?
I tried to blur those artifacts with some luma gaussian blur (which smoothes a bit the picture) to do like YUV, but all in all, it doesn't look perfect.
868 in YUV does better.
Any help ?
