DIVX - More magenta during playback vs source in VirtualDub

A newbie question. (Sorry, but I can't find the answer elsewhere).
I'm encoding some video (DV for instance) to DivX using VirtualDub. During playback the encoded video seems more red (or magenta) than source in VirtualDub. Is it a bug in VirtualDub (shows more green) or in DirectShow filters (show more magenta)? Where is the true color? :)

This probably has to do with your video card's overlay settings. There is no real right or wrong.

I've seen an issue like this before. Do a screen grab in VDub and see if the resulting image looks the same way.
