I don't know where to place this question on this forum but I need recommendations for dvd playback on my lcd monitor using zoomplayer and ripped .vob files.

In zoom players options, I need video and audio decoders. Which ones do I use for the best picture quality and sound? In the audio renderer box, which one do I choose there? I have an audigy2 zs so I am assuming I would go with SB Audigy2 ZS Audio renderer or the DirectSound: Audigy2 ZS Audio renderer. Which one?

What video and audio filters should I use also.

THANKS!

Hello neo squidward,

To see DVD (vob) with zoomplayer you need to install PowerDVD or WinDVD, because zp use the mpeg2 decoders of those players, the quality is good. There are free mpeg2 decoders but i have bad experience some time ago, maybe now are better :P

This is the page official for ZP with codecs to download:
http://www.inmatrix.com/zplayer/formats/

I use AC3filter or FFDshow to decode DVD audio.

This for audio ac3 (common audio compression)

Maybe this help...
