I found here and there a lot of music available in weird format (at least for me) DTS that fits on standard cd-r and can be played in DVD player. There was info included

"... is bringing you a new format that hopefully you will enjoy. This is DTS Audio CD's for the DVD player. Incredible Sound and fits on a CDR.Hopefully we can bring you more of these."

The image was in .gi format and nfo states that could be burned with Stomp Record Now MAX or DVD Decrypter. My question is how this works and how I can make cds like that

For this sounds like a normal DTSWAV in 44.1KHz :o

What happens when you rip one of those tracks back -> they are WAVs, am I right? Rename the file to .DTS and try to replay them with foobar2000 0.83 (special edition), or give the file to gspot -> PCM WAV 44.1KHz?

Since I discovered that my shitty Sony player doesn't support recorded cds in any way I can't check how it all works.I have to buy something more universal  ... expect me at this topic in near future and thanks for answer !

videohelp.com's DVD Player Compatibility list is a great place to plan your purchase.
