hi there helpfull ppl im new ish 2 dvd-rb and id like some advise
on how 2 get it to de-interlace the movies im backing up
`O` and in laymans speak hehehe

Within the scope of using DVD Rebuilder to process your source? Easy enough. Open Rebuilder, and click on "Options." In the drop-down list that appears, select "AVS Options." Under "Advanced (Expert) Options," select "Deinterlace with Decomb." Done! All interlaced footage will be deinterlaced, and the stream will be flagged as progressive. Any progressive footage on the original will be left as such.

but in general, you _only_ time you need to deinterlace is if the _only_ place you will be watching is on PC. If going to tv, leave it as is
