Well at least I think so ;)

This is a one-click avi2dvd converter that satisfies my preferences and provides an outlet for my pointless curiosity. Some here may find it useful, a few others have had.
It has no name because the one I had given it was irritating me and I couldn't think of a new one.
(Possible) negatives:
-Requires CCE 2.67/2.70 SP trial and Sonic Foundry Soft Encode, supports no other encoders
-Supports only 44.1/48 khz mp3 and 2chan/5.1 chan AC3 audio
-23.976/25/29.97 fps input only
-No fancy GUI
-Windows XP only
Positives:
-Uses CCE 2.67/2.70 SP trial and Sonic Foundry Soft Encode
-Linear interface
-Authors with MuxMan
-Batch processing
-Supports cli
-VobSub or SUP or SRT subs
-Film-based NTSC<->PAL conversion, using either time stretch or DGPulldown
-Detects and adjusts for audio delays
-Concatenates up to 3 avis with same characterics and pads/trims audio to maintain sync
Anyway, if the negatives are not a problem and you are into avi->dvd conversion, give it a go :)

Thanks a bunch Amnon82. I figured I'd post it and then figure out the hosting issue later. If it receives little/no response, this post could just be left to die anyway :)
Axed please let me know what you think, even if it's bad :)

Matthew, i think its because there is no GUI and people here dont seem to like to use programs that are command line driven. Im running thru an encode now, ill give you some feedback on it when its done.

I'd say it's comparable to a wizard in 'normal' mode, it just looks ugly :)
I had no idea what you were talking about with the Soft Encode issue until I ran a search :o
I believe Zeul uses Soft Encode for NuMenu4U PAL<->NTSC so perhaps I will ask him if he has dealt with the problem.

The quality on the first test i tried is great, and the interface is really simple to use (had a laugh especially with the authoring question..) I must say i do like it.

What are the up's compared with The filmmachine ? (http://members.home.nl/thefilmmachine/)

Alex I've never used that, and no doubt it's superior to mine in a number of respects, but just from looking at the site here are some differences as far as I can tell:
-Uses a commercial AC3 encoder (better quality), including 5.1 ch->5.1 ch for NTSC<->PAL
-Supports DGPulldown, especially useful for PAL->NTSC with AC3 audio
-Supports permanent or temporary suppression of some or all setup questions (via NameLess.ini)
-Supports batch processing
-Supports CLI
-Supports half-D1
-Concatenates up to 3 avis, without loss of audio sync (audio will be padded/trimmed)
-Replaces corrupt AC3 data with silent frames on a cumulative best fit basis, so avi will not lose sync by more than half a frame (16 milliseconds).
-Corrects initial audio delays
-Supports VobSub/SUP subtitles, as well as srt (although no mix and match)
-Up to 32 subtitle streams (although current standard version of MuxMan will only acknowledge the first 8 in the script).
-CCE settings are (to some extend) customisable via NameLess.ini
-Crash recovery
-Uses MuxMan, which is a faster and better quality multiplex than mplex/DVDAuthor

Axed sorry to hear you were robbed. The thought of some worthless pondscum invading one's private domain makes my blood boil.
Anyway, re the mono error, I can do something about it. Before soft encode is called, I can encode 2 small wave files 3 differenct ways - file1/file2, file1/file1, file2/file2. If the first encode is a binary match for either of the others then I know the mono bug exists.
Then it is possible to:
1) A generate a reg file on the basis of the settings in the ini and execute it. This means that the settings in the Soft Encode GUI are correct.
2) Control Soft Encode using AutoIt's sendkeys.
Rather nasty but possible nonetheless.
For tv I like using a preset ini and this:
"H:\DVD to DVD-R\NameLess\latestversion\NameLess.exe" "se|H:\tv4\1"
"H:\DVD to DVD-R\NameLess\latestversion\NameLess.exe" "se|H:\tv4\2"
"H:\DVD to DVD-R\NameLess\latestversion\NameLess.exe" "se|H:\tv4\3"
"H:\DVD to DVD-R\NameLess\latestversion\NameLess.exe" "se|H:\tv4\4"
"H:\DVD to DVD-R\NameLess\latestversion\Utils\CrudeAuthor.exe" "H:\tv4|H:\tvdvd|Episode 11|Episode 12|Episode 13|Episode 14|5|1|TV"
