I use PgcDemux to demux a ripped dvd9. Then I replace one of the sup with a new one and use MuxMan v0.14g to mux a new video_ts. The output size is about right for a dvd9 (seven 1G vob and one 500M vob). But when I play the video_ts.ifo or vts_01_0.ifo, only Chapter 1 was played. If I play the vob direct, I got everything. Please help.

One more thing. I have imported chapter points to MuxMan. I got "39 chapters" displayed next to the Start button when I click it.

When you say "Only chapter 1 was played" do you mean the next button does not work, or does the DVD stop after the chapter? If it stops it is becasue the video contains extra sequence_end headers. These can be removed with ReStream.

If it stops it is becasue the video contains extra sequence_end headers. These can be removed with ReStream. Is MuxMan going to be capable of doing this on its own in a future version?

Not remove them, but use them as points of reference, much as it currently does if the video is a series of stills seperated by sequence_end.

mpucoder,
It stops after playing Chapter 1. Is Restream another software? Can you tell me more details on how to remove the sequence_end?
Also, I've checked the ifo from MuxMan with PgcEdit and find that Title 1 (the movie) only has 2:18 in length. Why? There is not many parameters in MuxMan to make such mistake.

That is exactly what a sequence_end does - terminates the multiplex early. ReStream is a tool for manipulating mpeg headers, you can get it from Doom9's full software download page (http://www.doom9.org/software2.htm)

I tried the Restream on the m2v file with remove sequence-end checked and then remux again using MuxMan. But still title 1 (the only title) is only 2:18.

Post the log file (c:\muxman.log).

The log shows that all the cells needed for the chapters were created. Did you add the chapter list after saving the project? When the project is saved the PGC for the title is created, all the cells/programs/ptt's are made according to the information available at that time.
You can either start over with the GUI (without loading the old project), or edit the .mxp to remove the entire navigation section (so that MuxMan will make a new one with all the chapters).

Thanks. I got it with a new project.
One more question about the chapters. My celltimes.txt came from PgcDemux. It has 34 numbers. When use it first time in MuxMan, MuxMan gave me a message "Reference to non-existant scene 'Segment_1_scn34' from PGC 'VTS01_TTL01_PGC1'", and the output ifo couldn't be played. Then I remove the last line of the celltimes.txt, which read 305910, and MuxMan can complete the job, but with 33 chapters (see my log file above). The celltimes are from the ifo of the original DVD which should be correct. Why MuxMan said the last one non-exist?

What version of PGCDeMux? I thought the extra chapter had been removed in the newer versions. For some reason IfoEdit put the number of frames in the last line of celltimes.txt, and earlier versions of PGCDeMux emulated IfoEdit. The chapter list contains the first frame number of each chapter (so MuxMan cannot create a cell at a non-existant frame number, therefore the chapter cannot be created either). Chapter 1 is required to be at frame 0, so it may be omitted from the list.

v1.2.0.4 is the latest version. The end time (last chapter's end frame) will be included only if you had checked it. By default, it is unchecked.

I'm using v1204. I've checked the "include end time" and tried again. But the output celltimes.txt is the same as previous.
The log file showed that the total frame is 305910 and the no. of cells in PGC is 33. I noted that the celltimes.txt has 33 numbers starts with 4155 and ends with 305910. For MuxMan, should I edit it to put 0 as first line and delete the last line? Or simply delete the last line?

uncheck "include end time"
There is no need to add the first chapter, it is always there. And if you uncheck the option there will be no need to edit.
