some might remember my previous thread about converting aac 5.1 back to ac3 5.1

well with help here i figured it out
my prob now is i lost my os hard drive so im staring with a clean install
but it seems no matter what filters i install i can recreate what i did before
i can get graphedit to open the acc audio and fddshow is fine but when ever i try to output a test.ac3 file with the filewriter filter it puts .asf at the end
if any can help me with what filters i need it would be much appreciated as i can them make an image to the system and go back to it when ever i need to do this type of transcoding
