Some order in Matrices,please!

i'm trying to make some order between all the matrices i found in my xvid folder...First of all i need some advice to what to consider high,mid and low bitrate.Can i refer to the following guideline for DVD backup at full Resoultions (720x576 cropped to delete black borders)?

@ very low bitrates: 200kbps and lower
@ low bitrates: 400-200kbps
@ low-med bitrates: 400-600kbps
@ med bitrates: 600-800kbpskbps
@ med-high bitrates: 800-1000kbps
@ high bitrates: 1000-1200kbps
@ HD High bitrates: 2000-4000kbps

Or it's better to refer to bit per pixel? Something like:

@ very low bitrates: <=0.15
@ low bitrates: 0.15-0.20
@ med bitrates: 0.20-0.25
@ high bitrates: 0.25-0.30
@ HD High bitrates: >= 0.30

Her's the first:it's the same if i use all the matrices with 1pass at costant q or 2pass encoding?Or some of them are thought to bem used only with one of the two modes?

What you just asked for is impossible. Its like asking what bitrate to encode at to fit a movie on one cd only more complicated.

But i read you guys talking about QCM suited for High Bitrate,low Bitrate ann so on!what do you refer to?
Also the second question doesn't seem so complicated to me:the people who created those matrices thought to use them in 1pass or 2pass encode?
Really i don't understand why it's so complicated,sorry anyway!

It's about a week that i'm searching and reading a lot of topics about CQM and i found al lot of advanced information,but nothing that tart from the base except this:

which is perfect in its explanation of how a CQM works. But apart this i found only a lot of thread talking of some matrices without roughly group them in some way.
