Hi everyone!
I bought this card years ago and I just wanted to know if there's someone in the forum who has this same card and is doing high res captures: 720 x 576, and how... I installed the WDM wincap drivers and I have been trying several programs:
VirtualVCR, VirtualDub 1.6 and now finally BaoTV, with all of them I get dropped frames when capturing at 720 x 576 @ 25fps YUY2 with Huffyuv patched with CCE v0.2.5 codec.
I live in Spain, the TV broadcast is PAL-B and my PC is a PIV 2GHz 512 SDRAM, Windows XP Pro SP2, I don't think the dropped frames are because of a slow system...
I haven't tried capturing with PIC VIDEO MJPG since it uses RGB 24 and probably my card is already getting YUY2 but I don't know it for sure. PIC Video can't be used with YUY2, can it?
I have just read about this YUY2 lossless codec Arithyuv, I'll be trying some captures, but in the mean time...
