Hi, I copied a DVD to my hard drive using DVD Decrypter, however it stopped downloading at 95% so after waiting for a while I decided to delete and try again only to get the same problem. So I guess the DVD is damaged as I've had no problems with any others. After checking the VOB files I noticed that the entire movie is intact and the last few files that didn't download were not part of the movie. Unfortunately DVD Shrink wouldn't open up my project I decided to use NeroVision Express 2. Problem now is after editing out the extras and previewing the movie on Nerovision the first part in in Italian, the second part in English (my language) and the third part in Italian again. How do record everything in English???

Hi!

Playing INDIVIDUAL .VOBs can be misleading, because in that mode, the player software simply plays the FIRST audiostream it sees. If you have a software player such as WinDVD, playback as "DVD" (NOT individual .VOBs) - and you'll see (hear) that you don't really have the problem...

I may suggest something ( :) ) but there is no garantie it will work. Using ReJig demultiplex the movie vobs in video and the audio you want to have. Author them back with muxman. From this authored dvd copy the vobs and replace the original vobs (make back up before) Then start ifoupdate and update the movie ifo. After that try to open the dvd in shrink.

Thanks for your help Setarip & Abond I'm looking into it at the moment. I neglected to mention that I actually burned the movie to DVD and ending up with different parts in different languages. I tried burning everything but it still didn't work, couldn't open up a menu to alter the language setting. It wouldn't be so bad if I could speak Italian as well as English.

Try cleaning your original DVD and then try using DVDFabDecrypter to rip it to your hard drive...
