I'm pretty new at this but have read a lot and have converted quite a few of my DVD's to Xvid already. One question I have is when using the bitrate calculator in GK taking in consideration that I'm using the Force Film option in DGIndex (all the movies usually read NTSC, Film 99%, 29.970 fps) do I use 23.976fps or the original 29.970 for the calculator?

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Doesn't matter. The bitrate is the same, no matter the framerate. It's k/Bits per second, and the framerate doesn't figure into it. The 2 variables are the length of the video, and your intended file size.

If you used Force Film in DGIndex, and then opened the D2V in GKnot, it should read 23.976fps anyway.
