Is it possible to create a graph that takes 6 mono wavs as input and has an AC3 as output?
Or maybee there are other solutions to sending a wav to a specific speaker?
Would be usefull for previewing before converting, when doing mono/stereo to surround upmix.
Researched without result. Still hopeing, but not holding my breath though!

I haven't seen any dsfilters able to join 6 mono waves to a single 6ch stream so far. So use other wave tools(in this forum) to join them to a single 6ch wav or the original 6ch source in the graphedit to be processed with ffdshow dsfilter.
The ffdshow can decode almost any formats, remap the channels, adjust the volume and encode to ac3 upto 640kbps with previews.
Another way is using the softencode directly which can accept the 6 mono waves, but with the less useful preview function.

@Rockaria: Thanks for the reply.
The "No DS filter" was what i was afraid of.
Anyway, I'll try the ffdshow filter to see where the road leads.
Best regards.

This might be hard, but it might work.
Send every wave to AVI mux (or better MKV muxer) as separate tracks, then send output to demuxer with enable all tracks, and then all separate track direct to specific channel with ffdshow audio mixer, ufff :sly:
Just a thought
