Hi

Has anyone come across a Data Execution Prevention Error when trying to open video files (avi,mpeg etc). Happens when you click / Highlight a file before opening it.
It is something to do with having the Ace Mega Codec Pack installed

When you click a file, Windows renders the file and generates a preview (left sidebar). All this using plain DirectShow.

That means if there are some crap filters they'll get added into the graph and may crash/show various error messages.

Removing the 3ivx codecs seem to have solve it.
