Can it play VBR audio

I've got a bunch of xvid files that I hope the LG DF8900P will be able to play. When I open them in Virtualdub I get the following error that I have attached. They play perfectly in WMP, Media Player Classic and VLC Player but when I play it in Virtualdub the audio is out of sync. Can someone tell me if they will play fine on the DVD player.

the attachment doesnt open yet but VBR mp3 play on the LG fine for me.
