Pioneer DV-373-S is not PAL converter ?

Hi,

I have a Pioneer DV-373-S that is region free and says "Dual System PAL / NTSC with PAL-NTSC video converter"

I'm trying to watch a PAL DVD bought it in Italy but I can't play it in color, only black & white with a low image quality.
My TV is PAL-N, PAL-M and NTSC compatible, but I can't play my PAL DVD in color.
Does anybody know why?

EDIT
Ok, I can now watch them right and in color.
I have to choose the option NTSC in my DVD player, not PAL or AUTO.

Hi gonzalo76,

You've also managed to answer another one of your own questions, regarding "Region 2" DVD's...

Italy is a "Region 2" country!

Cheers
