Philips and the PNX1700
Hello to all,
It seems that philips is interested in the video decompression high definition Its new chip the PNX1700, answers in a significant way the circuit EM8620L of Sigma Design. - It has for advantage to encode and to unwind simultaneously a video MPEG4 or 2 520p (Pale or NTSC) - But the inconvenience of this chip lies in ressouces necessary for the encoding (2 - 3 times more power). http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/ |
