Pioneer doesn´t support DVD+R/RW

Does anybody know why Pioneer models don´t come with DVD+R/RW support?

(DVD / DVD-R / DVD-RW* / SVCD / VCD / CD / CD-R / CD-RW)

Because Pioneer is part of -r camp. Not having the support listed doesn't always mean that it isn't really supported So I recommend you to test it by yourself.

Oh really?
Well, I´ll test it by myself and see what´s going on.

I have a Pioneer DV-656 A and it played my DVD+RW that I tested without any problems. I believe that DVD+R would be even easier.
Hope it helps

Cheers

Hi, thank you all for your replies !!
You're right, Pioneer supports DVD+R/RW perfectly well.
I tested today without any problems.
I wonder why dvd+r/rw don't appear in the manual under supported dvd formats.
Only marketing ?
