Max file size on a DVD ???
Hi all ! i'm now encoding my DVDs with Nero AVC, i want to keep a good quality, and so, i put 2 films on 1 DVD-R. my files are about 2,2 Go, and i would like to know if i won't have any problem ith this size ???

ok, thx for replies. but is someone ever played a file higher than 2Gb on his own divxplayer ? on french forums (i'm french), i can read dvd/divx players aren't able to play files 2Gb< cause they can't read DVD in UDF mode.

Oh Oh...
There is one glaring problem here. If you record in Nero AVC, no player available today will play it. Only MPEG 4 ASP players are available today. Keep your eyes open though. Some of the chips in use do have AVC capabilities, and there are hints of them being enabled. (See the zensonic thread) |
