The first util seems to work, but the video is then corrupt in my tests, although changing it back to the origional frame size seems to work.

[edit] The first util seem to work well on RM9 material but corrupts RM8 material? Or does realone player just die on resized RM8 content?

Interesting, after resizing the file is not exactly the same. The hex width for my file before changing was 00 00 00 00 (how does that work?) where as after changing it was something like 01 09 01 2C...

The second link is broken.

LiFe.

Ahh, worked out why the file is different. The size of the steam must be stored elsewhere as well, and Real Player uses that data for playback if the playback size is set to 0, as when I used to tool to set it back to default size, it actualy puts the default size in that field - all good...

And if you hit reset, it deletes the value - brilliant!

Love this tool now.

Karl: Want to comment on it working on content other than RM9 out of interest?

nice tool!

Seems to work on RV8 as well for me (replace 'rv40' with 'rv30' in my hex edit instructions). The Reset function also appears to work, setting the size back to the original.

LiFe: I am afraid I can not reproduce your reported problems.
