DreamX 110 Player - faults?

Has anyone found that the REVERSE PICTURE SEARCH button (<<) on the remote control does not work as expected. Mine starts the XVID movie from the beginning instead of reversing at 2x/4x/etc.

MY Elta 8883 works properly for the (<<) function, the Dreamx 110 is a clone with an optical output (+) and inferior functions (-) and simpler remote control handset.

Dreamsat electronics do not respond to any communications!!!
