dvd that can show subs

Hey there

I know that Kiss dvd player DP-1000/1500 can show subtitles....
DVD, DVD+/-R, DVD+/-RW, MPEG-4, DivX (3.11, 4.x, 5.x), Xvid, CD, CD-RW, MP3, Ogg Vorbis og CD JPEG.

If i put a xvid/divx/mpeg4 movie on a cd and place the subtitle, next to the movie on the same cd, the player will put them together and play it right,

What is it in the player that make that happen????
Anybody know???

Thnx :-)

HTPC, or that elusive DVD player. For file compatiblity standalone DVD players haven't reached the level of computers yet, they're a bit quirky with certain files, or just don't support everything. PC's will, and will be audio/video codecs upgradeable upto the point where the existing PC isn't fast enough. But then just upgrade "base unit" then carry on playing hi-def. PC's are a PITA though
