Standalone Experts - Rimax player firmware question

Hey guys, I've been trying to follow all the different threads about the standalones and the different firmwares out there, etc... Some that mention the begining of subtitle support, others with just some compatibility fixes. It's all a bit mind boggling. So my big question is, does anyone have a Rimax player, and is there any need or reason to update it.

I bought it a few months ago... maybe 2-3, and it works great. Only had 1 vid that wouldn't run at all. I'm hoping that subtitle support will be coming around soon, and really that would be my big motivation for updating it. If any of you have any experience flashing it, and with what firmware I'd greatly appreciate any details. Thanks.
