VDub(mod) & XviD status windows disp error

Hi,
I use VDub 1.5.10 ( or VDubMod 1.5.10.1 ) for reencoding with Xvid 1.0.0Final(the same for RD4) with opened its status window and XviD encoding status window too. ( I like it ). ( Win98SE, DX9.0b)

When I switch Vdub window to "frame compressing graph", the nice
Xvid color bar starts display here too.
After a while it happens also to windows Start button and Systray icons.....

For VDubMod it is even worse, it happens already when being just at main tab at Vdub status window.

I could be a general windows errer too, of coarse..

I've experienced this exact same bug. I posted a bug report a while ago on Mod's bug tracker. It only happens sometimes so some combination of circumstances is needed to make it happen. It's probably some video buffer overflow... Of course the source could be in VDubMod's or Xvid's codebase. Koepi et al. are u using some unsafe control in that status window?
